Problem(s) Addressed

No current succinct online service suite custom-tailored to facilitate local culinary gatherings (e.g. cookouts, dinner parties, etc.) on a neighborhood-scale.

Solution

For the first Canvas, we're planning to implement the following aspects of our application:

Login/Sign-Up — Services for registering users, validation their information, and authenticating their accounts when they wish to use the application.

Basic Event Creation — A basic layout for an event creation service facilitating user-created neighborhood events.

Fields for:

• Date
• Start-Time
• End-Time
• Location
• Title
• Description
• Category(custom)
• Multiple-Modifiers(e.g. vegan, outdoor, etc)

Event Views — Pages for viewing events constrained to the following criteria: ****

Event Invitation — Service for users to send event invites to other users vis-à-vis events they have created or other peoples event.

Objectives Supported

• Help individuals connect with members in their community over food and drink
• Provide local aspiring chefs with a platform to showcase their culinary skills and favorite dishes
• Manage invitations and guest lists

Key Results

• 25% of registered users created and/or registered to attend an event

• 50% of users surveyed found the event creation/registration process to be intuitive & familiar

• 50% of users surveyed successfully used the invitation services provided by the app

• 50% of users surveyed were satisfied with their overall experience using the app
