There are different types of apps that try to find a solution for a similar problem then our:
Co-working spaces apps: These apps are made for a person or a group to find a co-working space. You can search through them, read reviews, the amenities they have, free space etc. After that you can normally book or rent the space directly through the app. The main difference between our app and this type of website will be the scope of the places to find. While these kind of apps are really useful for finding co-working space, often times developers meet or work in cafes with a good internet connection, libraries etc.. Our potential customers are all the people that want to make up your mind of the best place to code in an area, filtering through the results based on their preferences. Also normally we have users that look up for a place just for them and not the team they will working with.
Digital nomads apps- The main app we could find is Nomadlist.com, an app specifically designed for digital nomads to find their next destination to work in. This is a great app with a lots of features and information that an user can use, but it doesn't solve the same problem. While this is a great app to find cites or countries where to be a digital nomad, and help you to connect with other nomads in the area, it's main concern is giving the user an overview of the place her/him is going to travel to. The main difference is that within our app a customer will find the cafe, library, co.working space etc.. that is right for her/him. I'm in Chang May? Let's see what are the best places where I can go and work.
Workfrom.co: This app aim to solve the same problem we want to solve and it has a somehow similar list of features that we are here to implement. Look for a good place to have some work done? Check around you if there is some good co-working spaces, or cafes with a good internet connection and check the services they are offering. This app is good enough even if it looks is not possible to add/reads reviews. The description about the places looks not that good too.
Other competitors: There are also several forums, online communities blogs and vlogs about remote working and digital nomadism. Several users use this kind of channels to ask questions and find information about some places through the word of mouth.
